People feared String Man. Being a giant, String Man towered over people, but no one minded that. Living at the top of a great hill, String Man could keep his distance from children and old people, and no one minded that. What people minded was the fierce anger that always gripped String Man.
String Man kept growling bears and hungry howling dogs that chased you if commanded. Long years ago, before the earth fully formed, something mean and ugly grew inside of String Man and ruled him. No one wanted to go near him.
Only Oswa showed bravery in facing String Man. String Man hid all the string needed for the string musical instruments of the world.
In this story, we hold our breath as String Man battles Oswa.
